HOI AN – HANDICRAFT VILLAGES – MY SON 4D3N

DAY 1:           DA NANG – HOI AN (D)

Meet on arrival at Da Nang international airport, picked up by our coach and guide then transfer to Hoi An.

After check-in hotel, start a walking tour to discover Hoi An Ancient town, with Phung Hung Ancient House – a typical commercial house of Vietnam’s urban areas in the 19th century; Fujian (Phuc Kien) Assembly Hall – built around 1690 and functions as a traditional assembly hall for the Chinese ethnic group from Fujian, China to socialize, but later was transformed into a temple dedicated to their deity named Thien Hau – the goddess of sea who protects sailors from danger. Continue to visit Japanese Bridge – This beautiful little bridge is emblematic of Hoi An. Have dinner at a local restaurant.

Before getting back to the hotel, take a walk on the street along the Hoai River and experience the night life of Hoi An Town. Colorful lanterns are hung on in front of the houses, across the streets and paths all around the town, making Hoi An splendid and very special at night. Overnight in Hoi An.

DAY 2:           HOI AN – HANDICRAFT VILLAGES (B/L/D)

To day we xperience the traditional handicrafts and enjoy the real daily life of Hoi An local people.

After breakfast, take a bicycle ride to lantern making workshop in the village, the place that makes the spirit of Hoi An. Here you will get a brief introduction to the history, shape, and color of the lanterns. Choose your favorite sample of lantern. Do step by step with the craftsman how to make one lantern and then keep it as a souvenir. Continue to ride bicycle in 30 minutes to Tra Que herb village which is named after the sweet scented vegetables that spice up the every day meals of the Pho Hoi people. Take a short stroll around the vegetable garden and listen to the history of the village. Then join gardening activities in preparing the land, fertilizing with seaweed, raking the ground, sowing, watering, picking vegetables… Enjoy foot soak before getting to preparing lunch with a local family. Join cooking with ‘Banh xeo’- a local pancake of people in Viet Nam middle region & have all the products for lunch. Pm, continue riding bicycle along De Vong River to Cam Andock. Take a boat to Cua Daiestuary, enjoy casting net show and learn how to cast netby local fishermen. Then to Cam Thanh Water coconut village, have a brief introduce to the history there. Take on the basket boat (02 paxs/ boat) along the water coconut river.  Fishermen will teach you how to catch the crabs, learn how to make funny toolsby water coconut leafas watch, glasses. Group can be devided into small teams for basket boat racing. We then visit a craftman’s house in the village.

Transfer back to Hoi An for dinner. Overnight in Hoi An.

DAY 3:           MỸ SƠN (B/L/D)

After breakfast, drive to My Son holyland. My Son is the former capital of the ancient Cham civilization that ruled Central Vietnam from the second to the thirteenth century. Their religion was primarily derived from Indian Hinduism. My Son is considered to be one of the best-preserved Cham structures in Vietnam. The complex is comprised of seventy Hindu-like towers and temples dating from the second century. This site is a Must-See for those people who are interested in architecture and ancient civilizations and is now one of five UNESCO World Heritage sites in Vietnam. Enjoy Cham dance performance then drive back to Hoi An for lunch.

The rest of the day is at leisure for swimming or tailoring. Dinner and Overnight in Hoi An.

DAY 4:           HOI AN – DA NANG – DEPARTURE (B)

After breakfast, transfer to airport for departure flight, with a stop at Non Nuoc stone-carving village if time allows.
